Born and raised in Cleveland, but New York City called my name. After graduating from Wright State University with a BFA in theater design and technology with emphasis in carpentry and technical engineering, I moved to NYC in 2014 when I lived and worked for the past 8 years. Working Off-Broadway at theaters like the Signature, the Public and my home away from home, Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacourte, I worked over 25 shows a season. I also shared my passion for creation as a teacher at Pace University, CUNY City College of Technology and the New School for Drama. Moving back to Cleveland in 2022, I landed at a small custom window-coverings company where I’ve learned the ins and outs of small business ownership. Now I am the proud owner of Beech Tree Studio, my woman-owned custom carpentry shop and studio space, with the goal to educate woman and marginalized folks on all things carpentry, craft and handy skills.
